Jewellery Casting Process (Ghaat)
In traditional Indian jewellery making, casting is known as Ghaat. Using the lost-wax technique, the wax model is replaced with molten gold or silver to form the raw structure. This process captures even the finest design nuances with precision.
Stone Setting (Polki, Diamonds & Gemstones)
Our skilled artisans hand-set each Polki, diamond, and gemstone with exceptional precision. Techniques such as prong, bezel, pavé, and traditional jadau are used depending on the design. Each stone is aligned for maximum brilliance, security, and symmetry.
Filing & Pre-Polishing
Post-casting, the piece undergoes detailed hand-finishing. Excess metal is carefully removed, components are assembled if required, and surfaces are smoothed. This stage defines the final form and prepares the jewellery for stone setting.
Final Polishing & Finishing
Multiple polishing stages enhance the surface to its final lustre. Textures are refined, edges are perfected, and detailing is elevated. Rhodium plating is applied selectively—only for white gold or silver—to enhance brightness, while yellow and rose gold retain their natural richness.
